Shopping trip 6/19

The trip consisted of walgreens, CVS, and Walmart. I also will stress print out your copoun policies. I ran into a cashier and manger at walmart today that was being difficult. I stayed polite and friend and they ended up being wrong. Having your policy with you will avoid alot of confusion with stores like that.
Also there has been constroversy on using BOGO stacked with other manfucture coupons. This happened to me today also. They would not let me use both coupons because it is one coupon per purchase. The 2nd coupon was being used for the full priced item not the free item. The manger was not buying it. If i would have had my policy it doesn't state you can't do that. But there is a fine with that. You can't use 2 coupons with a coupon that states $2 off 2 items. So I'm not sure if I will be doing this or not. I think alot of changes are going to be coming because of the TLC show. I don't want to rock the boat if you will.

Ok now that I said my piece back to the great deal I got today.
Walgreens - 4 18oz Sauve Lotions paid $6.50oop and recieved $3RR. final of .87 each
CVS - 2 colgate toothpaste, hershey bar, hershey bliss bagged chocolate, Garnier face wash. Paid $3.92 and recieved $4ECB and a bounus $5 off $10 purchase. Wooo Hooo
Walmart - 10 dial body wash, 6 ivory soap, 6 packs UP2U gum, 2 laofs of Hawaiian bread, 3lbs bananas, Gallon of milk, bag of carrots, Pine-sol paid 0.95. Yes 0.95. I had an overage of $10.48 with the dial and ivory coupons. Before coupons it was $41.33 before tax. So this so far is my biggest haul yet.

I have been checking my favorite sites (listed at the bottom right) that there is some possible good savings coming up. This week

I have been super busy this week. I still fit in some time to shop. Sorry now pictures this week, but here is what I got:

6/8 Albertsons
3pks charmin toilet paper, 6 kraft dinners, 6 cans of red gold chillies and tomatoes, 2 tropicana 50 lemonade, 1 crest toothpaste, 2pks of lunch meat, deli sub. $20 saved $28

6/10 Walmart
1 All you mag, 5 sensodyne toothpaste(travel), 10 weight watchers yogurts, 4 hot dogs, 2pks KY jelly
$7.97.

The sensodyne was a great find because I made .03 for each tube. In sunday's paper there is suppose to be a dial body wash coupon that doesn't list a size for $2.00/1. Which means you can use this on the trail size and make a $1.03 profit at walmart. These will go quick.

The 1st 3 months of couponing

I have been told by several people that my pics never have food items in them. That is not true. I do get food items but since I am just starting I have not came across those sales yet.
The sales/coupons run in 12 week cycles. Since this is only going on the my 2nd month I have not collected a cycles worth of coupons. I have although stocked enough laudry soap, dish soap, body wash, deorderent, toothpaste, ect. Alot of non food items that cost more then food does. Now I am starting to stock up on food item. I should have enough ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, cereal, to last me until I get it at the rock bottom price. Which is the key buying items when it is at its lowest price.

ZYRTEC DEAL AT TARGET. $.76

Zyrtec 5ct is on sale at target for $4.76 through 6/4.
$4.00/1 Zyrtec product, any excluding trial sizes from RP 4/10
Final Price:  $0.76

 The 5 ct is not a trial size, so this coupon should work.
I have not made it to target yet this week so not sure if this is good for my area. It is definitely worth checking out though.

FREE CORTAID AT CVS

CVS is offering $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $7 or more on assorted Cortaid, Aveeno, and Benadryl items (limit one offer per Extra Care card.)  Although the item prices weren't listed in the ad, Cortaid products on the shelf at CVS range from $3.99 to $4.29 each.  So here's a suggested deal scenario:
  • Buy two $3.99 Cortaid items for a pre-coupon price of $7.98;
  • Use two $3 off Cortaid coupons from the 5/15 paper;
  • You would pay $1.98 out of pocket, and receive your $3 Extra Bucks -- so this turns into a $1.02 money-maker!
If you don't have the coupons from the 5/15 paper, you could use two copies of this $2 off Cortaid coupon instead, and pay a final price 98 cents for both after Extra Bucks, which is still an excellent price.
